2019 Indigenous vs Maori All Stars Discussion Thread

The footy is back!

Please post any pre- match thoughts and news, live scores and post match discussion in this thread.

Yep, the footy is back. It’s been a long off season. Looking forward to see how the Souths boys go in this game, particularly Cody being the captain. Will he step up? I hope so. Alex gets to show what he can do at fullback. Also pray that we get no injuries.

Can I bear to listen to another year of the Lattrell love-in?

He’s having a bit of a shocker…

David Fifita is 18…wow.

How is Dane Gagai - a player that has represented Queensland then Australia and the Indigenous All Stars all of a sudden playing in the opposition team?

Am I missing something here?

Actually there are a few players in this team including Tamou.

Back to watching Spartacus!!

Anyone who thinks AJ is a fullback needs rooting.

One of the commentators posed the question “Will Alex Johnston wear the number 1 for Souths?” Hopefully not if his first two attempts at fielding kicks are any guide to how he’ll perform in the position.

His Mum is a Maori. I think Tamou is also a Maori.
